Over the last two weeks the British Brands Group, in partnership with Bristows LLP, has completed a virtual training programme focused on Competition Law. This interactive program is designed to help delegates understand competition law so they can better protect themselves and their company. They also learn how to use it for better trading outcomes with their customers.
The delegates learned:
- The role and importance of competition law
- Compliance and how to develop a compliance programme
- Anti-competitive agreements, price fixing and sensitive information
- Pricing restrictions, pricing recommendations and pricing principles
- Category management
- The Bribery Act
- Dawn raids
Spread across two afternoons (13:30 – 16:00 each day), this interactive virtual classroom session received great feedback. All delegates were very satisfied with the training and all would recommend it to their colleagues. Delegates stated that:
- “The training was informative and contained practical examples.”
- “Really good, very well explained”
- “I thought that it was great to have case studies to bring meaning to the lessons in real life situations.”
