Higgidy is expanding its portfolio and making a UK-first with the introduction of its new ‘veg-packed’ quiche range. 

The new quiches feature pastry that contains more than 30% vegetables, made using mashed sweet potato and carrot with a butternut squash puree. 

This launch, which follows the introduction of Higgidy’s first vegan quiches last month, aims to liven up consumers’ midweek meals. 

Higgidy has created these flavour combinations in response to increasing consumer demand to incorporate more vegetables into their everyday meals. The new pastry innovation provides new flavours to encourage existing consumers to try something with a healthier edge, as well as younger consumers who usually may have shied away from pastry-based meals.
