The GSCOP/GCA Training Course
The British Brands Group provides a training course for direct suppliers to supermarkets on the Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP) and Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA). Tailored to general managers, commercial and sales directors, key account managers, regulatory and support staff involved in day-to-day trading, the course covers:
- The Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP) and its key elements
- What the GSCOP does and does not cover
- Its implications for day-to-day trading relationships
- The role of the Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA)
- The options available and how to safeguard against unfair trading practices
- How the British Brands Group helps tip the balance back in suppliers' favour

The training course comprises a full day programme (0900 for 0930 start, finishing at 1700) and operates under full compliance with competition law. The cost is £500 + VAT per delegate including lunch, refreshments and materials.
Special rates are available for members of the British Brands Group. For companies eligible to join the Group, the training course fee may be offset against the membership fee should the company wish to join.
